About this role
To work in analytics, you must be able to understand data and numbers, correlate causes and effects, and translate the facts and figures into tangible opportunities for change.
As an Analytics Manager, your day-to-day role includes creating weekly data dashboards for senior leaders to get a clear overview of the business. You will also make recommendations to these leaders on how systems and processes could be improved, and track the success of new initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) analytics are data that demonstrate your company’s sales and customer service performance. With a company as large as DP World, it is vital to collect and analyse customer data to make smart business decisions.

Key Skills
- Data analysis and the ability to identify trends in large data sets
- Presentation skills; showing and explaining data in a clear and understandable way to a variety of stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, follow-up, and customer management skills (both for internal and external)

Qualifications
- As a Manager of Analytics, you would be expected to have 5+ years of experience
- Experience developing analytics/data audits and providing feedback and insights

- Do your homework! Research how database administration processes work at different companies, and what software they commonly use.
- Develop your skills in using different database software; search for online training videos or online courses to enhance your knowledge.
- Look into relevant qualifications or certifications in database administration, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.
