About this role

As the Manager Legal Real Estate, your primary responsibility is to handle all legal aspects related to real estate. You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and reviewing various legal documents pertaining to real estate transactions.

Your key role will involve ensuring compliance with state and local laws, identifying and mitigating legal risks, coordinating with external law firms, and providing legal advice and opinions on real estate matters.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a repository of lease documents, representing the company in court for real estate matters, and actively participating in discussions regarding lease and real estate purchases.

Key Skills

  • In-depth understanding of state and local laws governing real estate in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to the real estate industry.
  • Familiarity with real estate concepts such as property management, sales transactions, and leasing.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Detail-oriented individual with a high level of motivation and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • Experience in handling real estate litigation and legal requirements.
  • Proven work experience as a Real Estate Lawyer, Legal Advisor, or in a similar legal position in the real estate industry.
  • LLB graduate with a minimum of 8 years of experience in real estate, preferably with a reputed law firm or a large, diversified company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
