A Visual Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging designs for various mediums, such as websites, mobile applications, marketing materials, and user interfaces.
Their job role involves translating concepts and ideas into visually compelling designs that effectively communicate messages and enhance user experiences. They collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other members of the design team to understand project requirements and develop creative solutions.
A Visual Designer utilizes their artistic and technical skills to design layouts, select color palettes, choose typography, and incorporate graphic elements to produce visually impactful designs that align with brand guidelines and user preferences.
Key Skills
- Deep expertise in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesgin, etc.
- A strong eye for detail and a demanding drive for quality executions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle concurrent projects and work across different time zones.
- Presentation & communication skills
- Understanding of information architecture and design, as well as usability principles and techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Masters degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), graphic design or equivalent
- For a senior level role, you would be expected to have 5-10 years of experience in advertising design or similar.
- Experience working in a collaborative team and with developers for implementation of customer experiences
