About this role

A freight forwarder is a person or a company who organise shipments, acting as an agent between the shipper (sender) and carriers.

As a Freight Forwarding Field Sales professional, you’ll develop and manage business relationships with clients who need to transport goods around the world. You’ll work within your branch’s geographical area to identify and secure new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships. You’ll analyse market trends, understand client shipping needs, and create tailored logistics solutions. Working closely with operations teams, you’ll ensure clients receive excellent service and support. Success in this role comes from building strong client relationships while meeting revenue and growth targets.

  • Excellent sales execution skills with ability to close deals
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet client deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Proven track record in sales within the freight forwarding industry
  • Experience managing client relationships and growing accounts
  • Additional languages beneficial
