Delivering growth is a key business accelerator, but balancing it is also fundamental to a more sustainable world. One of the core values and principles of DP World is delivering growth and driving a diverse range of sustainability initiatives. One way we do this is through our intensive focus on participating in university career fairs, such as the event in Effat University.

We were delighted to meet dozens, if not hundreds, of young and passionate talents who were eager to learn and grow. We participated in the fair by briefing them about logistics careers with a bright future – and how they can help facilitate better global trade while driving growth sustainably.

The team in Jeddah also recently joined the technical and vocational TechGen 2023 Career Fair. We shared our training opportunities and the GROW programme vacancies with over 11,000 applicants throughout the fair.

The GROW programme aims to provide excellent job opportunities for local graduates, where they can acquire knowledge and expertise in the logistics sector, which would strongly prepare them to enter the job market. Meanwhile, our other exclusive training programme offers a similar opportunity, but with a shorter fixed date. Similarly, it showcases to recent graduates all the different options in the logistics industry.

To fuel our GROW and local training programmes, the Jeddah team continuously participates in career fairs to introduce our company and the logistics sector to fresh graduates. During TechGen 2023, which took place on the 3rd of January, more than 95 organizations attended, with our team working diligently to explain the critical role we play in facilitating the smart flow of trade and positioning the logistics sector as an attractive career opportunity for aspiring young minds.
