About this role
Human Resources (HR) is the part of a business dedicated to recruiting, training and supporting employees.
As an HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive advice and guidance to managers across the organisation, to help improve employees’ experiences. This position may require travel to different office locations.
The role also includes supporting HR Business Partners in reviewing and improving HR practices and policies, ensuring legal compliance, and preparing documentation for various HR processes.
Additionally, you will play a key role in managing employee relations cases, such as disciplinary and grievance matters, performance management, and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Significant HR experience, with a focus on Employee Relations.
- Experience working in a unionized environment, with a solid understanding of collective bargaining agreements and relevant labour laws.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and practices.
- Experience managing and maintaining HR policies.
- Demonstrated ability to handle employee relation cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and flexible working issues.
- Proficiency in accurately reporting on absence management, grievance, and disciplinary matters.
- Familiarity with legal compliance requirements related to employee relation cases.
- Ability to prepare documentation for trade union meetings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- HR certifications (e.g., CIPD) are desirable but not mandatory.
