About this role

As Insurance Manager, you ensure that all the Logistics businesses across different regions are covered by quality, cost effective and compliant insurance policies. In a large organisation, it is inevitable that incidents happen, so insurance is vital to protect the business financially and legally.

Your role is to design, negotiate, manage and administer insurance contracts, coordinate a Global Insurance Strategy, and monitor claims and coordinate losses.

Part of your role is also create awareness of the Global Insurance Strategy across the business, and deliver training and workshops to advise colleagues and stakeholders on best practice.

Qualifications

  • At Manager level, 8-10 years experience in managing insurance would be expected
  • Experience in logistics insurance, working in a multicultural organisation and handling large complex claims
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant subject et.g. business administration, account or finance
  • Professional qualification and membership of internationally recognised Insurance or Risk Management body
