An Operational Resilience (BCM) Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational resilience and business continuity management (BCM) activities within an organization – identifying and reducing internal and external risks to the business.
Their job role involves developing and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization’s ability to withstand and recover from disruptions and emergencies. They conduct risk assessments, create business continuity plans, coordinate incident response and recovery efforts, and regularly test and update resilience measures.
The Operational Resilience (BCM) Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams, trains staff on BCM protocols, and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements. Their role is critical in safeguarding the organization’s operations and minimizing the impact of disruptions.

Qualifications
- Resilience qualification or degree in risk management/disaster management.
- Understanding of IT Disaster Recovery and experience in testing and reviews.
- Demonstrated experience in operational resilience programs, including Incident and Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Emergency Response.
- Strong organizational and auditing skills, including collecting statistics.
- Knowledge of information security and network security principles.
